First, we conquered your closet; now, La DoubleJ is taking over your tabletops, too. This spring, we’re launching La DoubleJ Housewives, a brand new collection of Italian-made plates and linens. But fear not, babe! This is not a bargain basement Bravo-network kind of collection. We take our cues from the lore of the mythical Milanese Sciura — the top-tier Italian haute-couture-hostesses and our own personal spiritual style guides. As an ode to these women’s timeless talents of housekeeping, we’re launching a full-service collection of tableware and linens, bringing La DoubleJ’s sartorial mix-and-match-maximal aesthetic to the dinner table so you can have your cake plate and wear it, too.

More than just a pretty plate, La DoubleJ Housewives is the latest in a series of collaborations with Italian heritage brands that celebrate the homegrown excellence of Italian design. This colourful collection has been made with ceramics masters, Tuscan-born Bitossi Home, and legendary linens producer, Mascioni, based in Varese. The collection features a set of fine porcelain dessert plates, stoneware dinner and soup plates, alongside 100% linen tablecloths, placemats and napkins printed with vintage patterns sourced from the Mantero silk archive in Lake Como.

For the minimalists among you, go for one print to spice up your dinner service. But if you’re like us and want to play the maximalist game, our prints and patterns are meant to be layered and mixed a million different ways. Have fun!
